iron???

Im confused about taking iron pills or not, because Im taking a prenatal that has 28mg iron and dr say I need 30mg. What does he mean about it? I know im getting enough iron, not only in my prenatal but the food I ate. Is there anyone in same situation? Or advice to it.

@Yourstruly21 & @thesea thnx just a lil worried.. lol but not that much. Im just scared to take too much iron.Id had a miscarried at my first so on this second im so careful. And yeah I ate a lot of veggies and eating red meat just like they told me.. Im 15w4d and my baby move a lot.

I take iron supplements because my hemoglobin levels are low (aka anemia).

If they checked your hemogloben and said you needed more iron I would just take a low dose iron supplement.
There is iron in all prenatals I think, and I am suppose to take extra iron
But I usually forget

But just make sure your eating your green vegges and anything else that is a good source of iron.

Your baby probably has all it needs, because he or she is taking it from you,
But the iron will help u with energy!

I wouldn't even worry about it...if yer iron levels aren't coming up as low then yer doin everything right:) yer doctor will let uu know if something needs to change
