is it safe to dye your hair while pregnant?

I am 9 weeks pregnant and lately I've been feeling very very pregnant.I wanted to do something nice for my self since I've been forgetting about myself lately and I think that I really need a break and dying my hair would be perfect since I'm really good at it and before I would always do it, try new things and would boost up my self confidence.i feel like I really need it.i come from a Hispanic heritage where theirs so many boundaries like nail polish while pregnant and cuting your hair while pregnant  is all a no,& many more including hair dye.
I'm not sure if their myths that just scare ppl or if it can really be harmful like these myths I hear.has anyone had any problems or know if this can be really harmful as they say?

I personally still dye my hair i have asked my midwife and hairdressers about it and they all saw asking as you are in a well ventilated area it is okay the only thing is they say while your pregnant sometimes the dye won't turn the way you wanted or hoped also you can paint your nails and cut your hair...... i have acrylic nails and never have once had a problem!!! Don't believe everything you hear i hope that helped!

I haven't done it myself but I have been to the salon and had it done. Just make sure it is a well ventilated area
