is it safe to get my nails done when pregnant?
I'm about 20 weeks pregnant, is it okay to get my nails gel ? i was planning on going tomorrow
The acrylic comes in two kinds, odorless and regular. Odorless is obviously more expensive so they say to avoid salons as much as possible. I tty and go in the middle of the week right when they open so that I'm the only one there so all the chemicals aren't in the air yet and I stay away from acrylic because my friend is a cosmetologist and they taught her in school that being exposed to the odors of the acrylic chemicals can cause problems in pregnancy.
The chemicals in the nail salon from the acrylics can be harmful to the baby when I get mine done I ask for a mask to protect my baby
