Honestly just call the antental clinic, your midwife or antenatal hospital team. We'vre very lucky that we get free medical care, I agree with Libby, make the most of it, they're there to help :) I'm sure everything's ok, but put your mind at rest and give them a ring. x
I live in the uk too just remember if in doubt call your midwife xxxx or pop to the hospital xxxx our nhs is free xxxx make the most of it xxxx your midwife is there to help xxxx
I'd ring your midwife, I couldn't help as I'm a ftm too, but it's better safe than sorry and they'll tell you what to do and where to go if needed.
They come and go but they stay for a while.then stop then come straight back I'm.not sure what contractions feel like I get thongs that feel like the books describe but.its.my.first baby so I'm not.sure x
I would maybe try and get up and walk around the baby may be putting pressure on a vessel or something interupting cirrculation. Are your pains constant in ur abdomin and back ir are they like contractions?
