Bed Rest Vent

I'm sorry this isn't a question just need to vent a bit and see if i'm the only one going through this. I'm 35 weeks 1 day and Tuesday my stomach was feeling weird. I woke up crampy and nothing was fixing the problem so I called my dr and they told me to come in right now so I did. I called my bf to let him know I was on my way to the hospital and he went above and beyond getting there from work quickly. Well needless to say I was having early contractions ended up getting two shots and a  bag of fluids to stop them and was finally sent back home at like 11 that night! Well I was supposed to get checked out by my dr the next day and he ended up sick so my nurse put me on bed rest for 24 hours til I could get in. The next day I went in and my dr can't figure out why I'm still contracting so I'm on half-assed bed rest. I can only be up on my feet for 5-10 mins at a time otherwise I have to be laying or sitting with my feet up. Now my bf is being over protective. Yes I should love that he is looking out for me but I feel like i'm on house arrest. He times my showers, won't let me leave the house without him so he can time how long i'm up, and today he wants me to stay home while he goes to get my breast pump and bottles. He's a typical guy and is going to end up getting something wrong that I don't want, sorry I'm a bit anal, and its going to be a waste of a trip if he doesn't take me. Grr sorry this is so long but I had to vent and he won't listen and I just want off bed rest/house arrest!!! Is anyone else on bed rest with me?

Depending on my blood test results I may end up on bed rest too. I'll know on Monday. I'm 35 wks too. Doc says she'll deliver baby at 38 wks if I have hypertension.  Im not sure what I'll do as I have a kid turning 3 in 7 days.  I hope you feel better soon!

I was with my first kid, not because of contractions but because I just couldn't keep my strength and seemed to constantly get this bug in my stomach that prevented me from having anything more than broth and gatorade. Couldn't even have water! It *****, but you can get through it if I did!

Lol dont worry about it, it does suck when.you want to nest or cook and you cant because your not supposed to be out.of bed. My boyfriend always tries to be helpful too and it frustrates me cuz i wanna be able to do SOMETHING on my own. Sigh. Four weeks left for me! Maybe sooner if my lil one keeps trying to escape like this lol

Sory for your frustration. What I will say is make the most of rest as I didn't give myself any me time during pregnancy, and you wont get much of it when baby is born- trust me :) Good luck. x
