second babies

I'm currently pregnant wwith my second and they'llbe 15 months apart. My mom has offered to buy things and hss s bassinet and a double stroller. My dad bought our daughters crib which I nevet asked. So for this baby I asked him if he could get the crib again and he tells me today he can bring the one my brothers used it's like 15 yrs old. I just feel this baby isn't as "loved" or people aren't as excited. I know with our current situation its not ideal hut things happen for a reason. My dad hasn't offered anything. I told him not to worry and he wanted to get something to get diapers.

Anyone else feel this way from family?

Yeah you should pretty much already have everything you need. Buy diapers wipes and some clothes if its a different sex. Most ppl don't go mega shopping for each child, that would be crazy.

I guess I was just so use to when I was pregnant with my daughter all they wanted was to buy things. With thid onr my double stroller is used sinc e my other one is like a yr old lol and I got used bassinet. Yeah I asked my dad I'd he came across the deal on the crib again he got our daughter if he could pick it ip he got her a convertible crib for $100. I think I'm being overly senesative. Thanks ladies I'm greatful for anything I get esp at this point

Its not that they dont love the baby any less thats their grandchild so the baby will have just as much love as the first but the first grandchild always get the most nd everything im having my second child also nd my firsr child had plenty of stuff that he didnt use everything his granny bought him but with this one he will only have the things he need because i dont want anything to go to waste

Hunn take Watever they give you, the baby will be love no matter what. Babies are expensive. So everyone right on money. At least your getting it for free instead of spending money.

Most people don't buy for the 2nd baby, especially if it's close together or the same gender, my 1st, my whole family bought everything i needed for big stuff, for my 2nd i only got diapers and wipes, 4 years later, and boy/girl pregnancies, so i don't think it's about love, it's probably more about financial situations, cribs are expensive so it might not be in his budget

They probably love the baby as much as the first... but if they bought  you all that the first time maybe they feel like they shouldn't or don't have to this time.. idk if it were me I wouldn't have asked them to buy that stuff I would of felt uncomfortable. a crib isn't cheap. Just see what they get you.. im sure they will get this baby something
