well i went to my ob and he told me that my numbers would continue to go up slightly until i was about to miscarry then they would drop drastically.  i had an u/s and as soon as the tech put that thing in me i didnt see anything.  i couldnt even see the sac ( just like the ER said) she managed to find it but it was so small and just a shadow.  they said it was blood filled ect ect.  this pregnancy has been a roller coaster so i decided to let it go!  my dr said i could wait til next week or have it right then and there.  i would of waited had i seen progress on the u/s but i was just tired.  so i went to the hospital and registered at 1pm and procedure was under way at 3pm.  even though i prepared myself for a miscarriage i was still a basket case.  plus i have never been put under general anethesia so that intensified the anxiety big time.  i remember being on hospital bed in OR and dr walking in! they game me the feel good medicine and transfered me to another table, they tied down my arms on long table and thats all i remember until i woke up!!!  i was in the OR and i heard someone answer the phone ICU and i freaked out.  turns out ICU is next to the OR. the anethesia must of knocked me out cause my husband said my 20 minute procedure turned into a hour or more.
