need advice

Hi everyone, I'm 21 years old and am pregnant with my first child. My boyfriend, who is also 21, and I have been together for only 7 months but it feels like a lot longer (in a good way) he is my best friend. We always talked about what would happen if we ever did get pregnant without planning it, in theory he said he wanted to start a family but now I fear the reality of it will scare him away. He is just as responsible as I am, we never used condoms but I was on the pill and figured we would be fine. I have my first doctors appointment next Monday, and I still haven't told him yet. So my question is, how are some ways I can tell him that won't completely freak him out?

We had a boy with our first, so hoping for a little girl this time, but are going to be so happy either way! It seems like FOREVER away in 2013 though!! It's going to be a long fun pregnancy, no morning sickness yet, and hoping I don't get any!

If it majesty you feel better, my boyfriend and I went to get a test just in case, cause I had been late a week, and I wanted to just make sure I wasn't late. The next morning I peed on the stick, and woke him up crying, & saying I was pregnant. Lol he took it well suprisingly, were both 20, and I'm 6 months along.

It will change his life, but it is an AMAZING change, I promise you, it's a shock, but you wait til the first U/S, when you hear the H/B, find out the gender, name him/her, set up the nursery, its amazing! How far along are you?

I'll keep updates :) I'm glad I found this app, it's definitely a big help reading everyone else's comments and to know I'm not alone in this.

I appreciate it. I've known for a week now, it's already set in for me. Every time I work up the courage to say it I look at him and wonder how I can say 3 words that will change his life. This is the hardest thing I've ever had to do so far.

Honestly, he'll probably take a day or two, maybe longer to have it set in, but he will adjust! My husband and I were together a short time before I got pregnant, we were dating then, had a healthy, happy family, married a year later, and now we're expecting a planned baby number 2! It will take a while to sink in for both of you, but don't take offense to it, and it will be fine!! Congratulations and good luck!!
