why do some woman get the line under their belly button? im startin to get thius faint like line under my stomach my mom just told me it means things r growing? but my stomach is super hard yet...? and also its my work christmas party tonight i feel kinda weird going tonight i cant drink do nothing....some people know im pregnant spome dont i duno weird...

I'm starting to get mine. i'm 16+6. they say fair skinned women are less likely to get it. my best friend is fair skinned nd didn't get hers. i'm half chinese and am already getting mine lol.

Combs7: No I didn't. Do you happen to know her username? Maybe I can contact her.      Miley: I am not sure exactly how big my stomach is but I'm pretty small for 9 mo my baby weighs around 2.5 lbs and is not expected to gain any more. I have gained about 14 lbs this whole pregnancy.

I have VERY fair skin & have never gotten the line through 3 pregnancies or in this on yet. Charly did you see there was a lady on her the other day & her little girl has T18 & is 3 years old!! Just thought maybe she could give you comfort.

I started getting mine around 23 weeks, some women get it earlier, some don't get it. Mine's still pretty faint and it's from my belly button up, not down, haha. It's hormonal changes in your body and completely normal. For some women it gets really, really dark, it usually goes away after the baby is born.

She hasn't made much progress. Hasn't gained any weight or grown much. My stomach has gotten bigger but that's because she's not swallowing any amniotic fluid and its accumulating more than it should be. So most likely my water will break soon.

Its called La Lines Negra. Almost all pregnant women get it. Some more faint than others.
