looking for a doctor

I just got approved for my Medicaid for pregnancy. And was wondering how to look up doctors. Do I just look up doctors in my town and call them?? Or do I need to be specific when looking them up??

I agree with destynee ^ also ask friends and families for any references on good OBs

Just look up OBGYN in ur area, pick which one you like, and once you call ask if they accept medicaid. Thats all you have to do.

I just called a doctor my friend had used &asked if they accepted medicaid. If they do they will tell you which kinds &what not

I'm on medical idk if it's the same but I had to goto my primary care doctor and have them give me referral to see an ob/gyn and they were the one who referred me to the one I currently goto.
