sac coming away

Hi can you help answer a question my cousin is in her third pregnancy approx 12 weeks and has just started heavy bleeding with cramps a scan has shown that the sac is coming away from the uterus but the baby still has a strong heartbeat they have told her they do not know which way the pregnancy will go and that she has to go back for a scan in a week. the bleeding has now stopped what are the chances of this being a normal pregnancy ???????/

I wish I could tell you for sure but its hard to tell. They should put her on bed rest for a while so that it has time to try to heal its self! If they didnt than she should put her self there! I wish her and her baby all the luck and hope to hear good news when she gets her next scan!

It's hard to say, but I believe that the sac needs to stay attached...
