low placenta

KDQ
I had my anatomy scan 2 weeks ago. I was at 18 weeks when I went in. The ultrasound showed my placenta is low. My doctor said it still has time to move up. I would obviously prefer a natural birth to c-section but if I have to have on I will just suck it up. I am wondering have any of you ladies started with a low placenta and had it move up allowing you to have a natural birth?

Thanks for your comment. I am wondering how common it is. I still have 20 weeks to go so there is lots of time I just hope it moves.

I had marginal placenta previa, meaning part of my placenta was covering part of my cervix. I had a u/s last week at 33 weeks and it showed that my placenta completely moved up to a normal location. More than most of the time they will move up as your uterus grows.
