Any of u ladies have any advice on when to start buying maternity clothes? Also what sizes? Im 11 weeks and not sure how big Ill geg

i didnt get maternity clothes i buy streachy clothes like shorts shirts and dresses .. its confortable and still looks cute

I hate maternity clothes.. I think its ugly. I wear bigger sizes and I buy clothes at rue 21 and the clothes look adorable. I don't think you need to dress ugly just BC you're pregnant! Lol some people don't care but u should show off or bump not hide it!

You will definately know when you need to buy them. I had to start wearing maternity clothes at 14 weeks. And just buy a few things to wear so you dont waste too much money.

I started a little early but with maternity pants they should last the whole pregnancy .I'm 17 Weeks now but started like 3 Weeks ago. I wear dresses in the summer, so maternity dresses were great because they expand with the belly and no rubbing!! If you're looking for reasonable maternity clothes try old navy lovee them !!

@ brinabear the store I went to did it that way so it was easier to find out what size you wore. It was the same size, just maternity. But I did end up outgrowing my jeans after 3 months

So, in the US, when you are a size 6 regularly, you would be a size 6 in maternity? I'm still confused..

I really dont know what the right answer is i bought maternity clothes and im already growing out of them so id say get something here and there when u need it.. if u wanna save money try thrift stores cause ull only be wearing them while pregnant!

With my first I was in maternity clothes by the end of my first trimester, my second I was able to wait till the end of my second trimester and with my last I didn't end up needing any maternity clothes so I'd definitely wait it out as buy as needed because every person and every bump is different.

Here in the US it's the same size you wear, but in maternity so I would guess it's the same there? I wear a 11 so I wear an 11 maternity

i'm confused by maternity clothes. i'm a uk size 6 so i buy uk size 6 maternity clothes or just whatever fits??

Thanks guys Ill probably wait a little while longer before I buy anything I still fit in my regular clothes but they seem to be getting a little snugger

My entire pregnancy I only bought 2 pairs if maternity jeans ( which I outgrew in 3 months) and a pair of maternity shorts. The rest of the time I was in sweats and big t shirts. It was ok for me since I worked in a factory and it was more about comfort than style lol

My advice would be to only buy as you need because noone knows how big their bump will get. I found that buying new maternity clothes when things started to feel a bit snug rather than buying loads that I possibly wouldn't wear long saved me a lot of money and hassle with returning things :)

I started wearing maternity jeans at the beginning of the second trimester. Never bought any maternity shirts. I wear my boyfriends and big t shirts lol.
