governement insurance for pregnant women
Oh! Well, I'm not sure. I think that varies from state to state. I would recommend talkign to your case worker. Chances are, if neither of you (you and your fiance) make enough money to meet the cut off, you'll still be covered. I know plenty of couples here (Indiana) who don't make enough money together to meet the cut off and keep the insurance.
I am suprised at how much a family of 3 can make!. a family of 3 includes myself, the unborn child , and my 4 yr old daughter. Well, thats obviously only 1 person working (myself) the cut-off is over $30,000 per year. well full time job, that is over $14.50 an hour. I'm shocked.
to clarify again it is medicaid for pregnant women.
I'm really anxious to know if I can get married! Would I have to reapply? could they cancel me?
Here in North Carolina the medicaid is based on you and your unborn child...So here if you get married it doesnt affect it they will still cover you and baby....Also they will not cancel it unless you have a miscarriage here...it wouldnt hurt it ask your case worker since every State is different...Good luck to you and your new upcoming family.
I live in Missouri. It is based on your income (that would be ANY income: yours or husband's income). If you get married, you have to call if your income then exceeds the requirements of your policy with MC+ and reapply.
If it were me, I'd focus on baby right now and get married later.
