Hi, so i applied for medi-cal april  17th and havent recieved anything in the mail yet. My PE expires on may 31 and i have a doctors appt june 12. Do i get another extension if my application is still pending or will i have to cancel my appt? Any tips would be helpful. Thanks

You should be able to get emergency medical since ur pregnant.. so call your worker :)

Theres that new thing covered California thats making them take a long time to process what i did because i applied in Jan. And it was March and still nothing i had to go in and see my case worker and she approved me on the spot i suggest u go its easier bcus if not ur gunna keep getting it extended.

I waited a week and they got me.mine they gave me a temporary paper medical card

I had to wait 30 days for my medical to get approved. If you tell them that you have pending status for state medical they can't charge you right then and there. When you get the bills save them until you get approved and then send them to your medical provider.

Medical is taking about 90 days right now to process applications.. on the plus side if ur approved they will cover u from the date u applied so I wouldn't cancel ur appointment.

They have emergency medical. They cannot refuse you...

I would call your office where you applied for medical. Where I live for pregnant women it takes maybe 2 wks to get an answer of approved or not
