might be a weird question.
My mums dog has not been the affectionate type towards me he will come for a little headrub and go but today its like I have got a little follower everywhere I go he is there won't leave my side at all. Can pets sense something or is he just being weird
My partners moms dog doesnt seem to know im pregnant. She still attempts to jump up my tummy and things when i visit so they have to keep her away from me until im sitting downa and can protect my belly (shes a boarder collie 3 years old) my mom and dads dog who is a golden lab 9 years old i think can sense. He never jumps up me ever as he isnt allowed, and just likes a fuss. But the other day i sat on the floor to do something and he came over and sniffed my belly and put his head there protectivly. I thought it was dead sweet!
He was my brothers before so he had been back and forth here all the time and then they gave him to my mum. I just went to the toilet and come downstairs and he was sitting at the bottom of the stairs and my dad said he has been sitting there crying
He may sense that the baby is coming within a few weeks. My dog was just the opposite though. She was so clingy up until a few weeks before the baby came and then she wanted nothing to do with me. Now that our little man is here, she's back to normal.
Lol! If she had just gotten him when you were just finding out then that could be why he didn't bother much. He was still settling in, and gaining trust from all of you.
Haha I think he is a bit slow in realising I am pregnant haha its funny cause when my mum got him I had not long found out I was pregnant
He may just be a lil special, and just realized your pregnant. Lol. Im pretty sure he's gonna be very protective over the baby!
I am almost 36weeks and he has just started this all through my pregnancy he hated me unless I was feeding him or something but he is now just constantly there lol
Pets can sense a lot of things. He knows your pregnant and will more than likely be protective over you. Once the baby comes, he may even be protective of he/she! Our dog is the same way. She never listened to me, never cared for me unless I had food, feeding her, putting her outside. She is so good with my bf but now she is getting a lot better with me. Its amazing how they know somethings going on. :)
