mommas who have miscarried?

I am 5 weeks 4 days and have been miscarrying since last night. What should I expect?  Other than cramping and bleeding will I pass tissue at this far along or no?

At 5 weeks, the tissue will look like a big clot. I'm so sorry for your loss. I've lost two of my own.

I bled lightly first day cause people said it can be normal i didnt cramp next day it got heavier and rushed to hospital had lots of bleeding and then cramps started .. i passed the placenta on my pad sorry for tmi i continued to bleed all day passing clots and tissue being monitored in hospital next few days had barely any blood and then passed baby on my pad ..  i was horrified but most women if this happens bleed so much they dont notice im really sorry for what your going through its not nice however its not the end of the road as i had my period 5 weeks later and caught pregnant straight after my 12 week scan is this thursday and i am terrified ! Symptoms come and go and some days i feel normal and i just feel scared but what im saying is it happened quickly for me after mc and we wasnt trying it just happened hope that it will give you some comfort knowing your not alone and tou will get pregnant again i wish you the best of luck in the future

Thanks ladies for the info. I'm so sorry for all of your losses. Even those long ago. I don't think the hole in our hearts in truly ever completely filled :\ so far I'm still just bleeding.  No tissue, cramps or clotting.  It still doesn't feel real. But I definitely feel less pregnant.  Just empty inside :/

I was 7 weeks...the bleeding lasted about a week which for me was like a normal period.

I had a miscarriage a year and a half ago, I was 6 weeks but baby stopped growing at 5 weeks so it didn't develop into anything by that stage, my loss was just like a normal period for me, which aren't heavy at all, I only noticed tiny bits and pieces of tissue like a normal period. I got pregnant again almost a year to the date I had that miscarriage. Best of luck and I'm sorry for your loss, it's heart breaking.

I bled for a few days then spotted for about a week as far as I remember (although everybody is different) I noticed tissue in my passings, I didn't properly look at it though because I didn't want to risk seeing anything that could have possibly been the fetus. Too upsetting. The cramping depends on your body, I cramped for about a day then it subsided to minor pains for another day.
so sorry for your loss. :( x

I am so sorry I had a miscarriage at 7weeks and ya there was tissue but I couldn't tell any kind of structure to it... my bleeding was really heavy for the first 24hrs then it pretty much went to a heavier but normal period for a week..
Again it is completely hard to go through it and you will be sad for alil while but if you look at the best you have a guardian angel and try again..
I'll be thinking about you and your lil one this week

I know how it feels :( I miscarried last year in Feb and I was 17 weeks, it was so painful for me. I think I miscarried for 18 hours, and it was hard to breath and stay still so I wouldnt feel more pain.
