about ultrasound

I want to know that how many time ultrasound is necessary to be done. Some people say it should be done every month and some say that only 3 time in whole pregnancy is fine

The only time you will have monthly Ultra Sounds is high risk pregnancies.

I had it twice but just because baby was 1 week behind, otherwise they make 1 scan at 20 th week in all pregnancy where they check everything

I've had 6 scans but only because I've miscarried 6 times before this pregnancy. Normally you have one at about 12 weeks, then around 20 weeks and then one last one around 35 weeks.

Depends on your doctor and insurance. With my first the doctor i had gave one every appt. With my second i switched doctors and they only do 2. 1 for dating in the beginning and one for 20 week anatomy. I had more at the end becaise i had gestational diabetes but if everything is normal only 2.

I only had one ultrasound with my first pregnancy.  It depends on how your pregnancy is going, but the 20 week ultrasound is the only REQUIRED one normally.  Your doctor or midwife might recommend more though, so I would just see what they think.
