When did you start dilating?

I was in the hospital over night on sunday and they checked me, i am 1cm dilated and 60% effaced.
I am currently 36 weeks and 2 days along. I am hoping that this is a sign that my little man will be here soon, i am in so much pain and so uncomfortable all the time that i cant wait for this to be over.

When did you start dilating? and how long afterward did you have your baby?

34wks 2cm gave birth 3days later

im 40wks, 2 days and have barely any dilation. not even a whole cm. havent even been having a whole ton of contractions :( but im being induced monday night at 41 wks

I was not dialated or effaced until 39w3d I lost bloody show and contractions started right after. Then had my baby after 11 hours.

Im right with ya! Im miserable, everything hurts, and I am 36w today. I got checked yesterday and I'm 1cm

Thanks ladies. Its been rough. Its been in the mid 90s for almost a month, our a/c unit barely works and its always really hot in my house so its hard to nap or rest comfortably and ive been having alot of really bad lower back pain along with pain and pressure in my vagina, it hurts to roll over, stand up and even to walk. Im just miserable lol.
I guess I was hoping to hear stories thatd make me think I was going to deliver soon lol
