So my cousin nd I are both pregnant I'm 7 months nd she's 6. We were both heavy weed smokers before our pregnancys only thing is I was able to quit completely where as she still smokes a lil every now nd again. Any thoughts??

I live in Cali yes you CAN get your child taken away from marijuana I live in LA it happens all the time so be smart

My sister in law smoked weed through out her whole pregnancy and her son is fine and she didn't get him taken away. We live in Texas.  I personally wouldn't risk it but I don't think it's a bad thing either. Like I always say, to each his own.

Ive never heard of cps taken a baby away for weed but i live in cali. Idk if the laws r different here in cali. U have to be doing harder drugs then that for them to be involved.

PLEASE talk to your doctor about this. This subject always causes drama here. We're not doctors. And while some babies have no harm from it, others do. Every pregnancy is different.

It's good you were able to stop. But it's possible if she gets tested for it and comes back positive she can get her baby taken away hopefully it doesn't happend but let her know convince her to wait because the baby will need her warmth. Good luck to u guys

Don't worry about her... I think it's natural and nobody's business.. I do think with nosy government trying to say who is fit and who is not it's a risky toss...

I can honestly say it does no harm. But however of tested she could lose her baby to CPS. I watched it happened to ny sister in law.
