Walked 12.5 miles for 5 and 1/2 hours

I had to walk home from work cause my car is broke down at home and my bf told me that he couldn't pick me up at the last minute. And I don't really have family. When I got home, I was cramping In my stomach like crazy. My legs are still killing me and my glutes are sore. My ankles are also sore and swollen. Will and can this long walk affect my baby???

That is unacceptable!  My husband wouldn't have gotten away with that. He needs to realize that you are carrying his child and he has to do everything in his power to make sure you are comfortable. Is this the first time something like this happens?

Lots of fluid and rest and when you feel better kick your selfish bfs *** or make him kiss yours!

That would be the day my husband let me walk that far! Thats ridiculous. You need to relax and drink lots of fluids.

Nope, no buses where I work. I'd still have to walk at least 3 miles before I reach a bus stop. Cause I work on the beach side. And the nearest bus doesn't even go by my house.

Can you not get a bus or someone u work with to give u a lift. Make sure u rest and take it easy after that. That's far too much to walk when pregnant. Hope ur ok and get things sorted.

Im sorry! Hopefully he can figure it all out before the baby is born because there is no way you could walk that far with the baby.

Just get some rest and stay off your feet try keeping your legs elevated..I do walking everyday since my car is broke down right now as well and i make sure first thing when I get home I elevate my legs and relax for about 30 to 45 minutes before I get back on them..hopefully this won't happen again to you but just in case try walking at a slow pace and make sure you stay hydrated.

You need to sit down and prop your legs up so swelling won't get worse and drink cool water. Baby should be fine you just did something your body isn't use to.

Drink allot of water and rest. It should effect the baby as long as you just take a break and get dehydrated. I would be posed thiygh. He should have figured something it for you.
