natural birth, no vaccinations?

Hey everyone. I am currently 31 weeks pregnant and contemplating on having a natural birth. I am petrified of the whole labor idea, but feel it's the healthiest for my baby. I also believe I want to opt out of having my baby vaccinated... anyone out there try the natural route or at least give thought to it?

I am totally for nature birth and interested in it myself. I had the etpidural the first time and did not like it at all. When it comes to vaccines I personally am 100% for vaccinationes. As others say the more vacinated individuals there are decreases the risk of spreading it to younger infants and children who are immunocompromised. Pluss it protects your child against many very horrible conditions that have been making a comeback due to individuals deciding to not vaccinate. If you talk to your doctor they have to give you fact lyrics information about the actual risks the vaccinations pose and they are very rare.

I think unmedicated labor is great if that's what you want! I'm sure you could put your mind to it and do it! As for vaccinations, without getting too much of my own personal opinion in on it I'll just say that your decision not to vaccinate has the potential to effect other people. Children with auto immune disorders, other infants who are too young to be vaccinated and elderly who she unable to receive vaccinations anymore rely on people who are vaccinated to protect them from these preventable illnesses. I would strongly recommend you speak to your doctor about this and really keep an open mind about it. Vaccinations are important to the health of not only your child but others around you.

I'm actually considering the same thing. I have been doing prenatal yoga to help with breathing and energy focus. Also with the vaccines I've just heard that some of the stuff that is actually mixed in the medicine comes from things they get from animals. I would like to do more research tho. I would definitely plan on feeding my child in a natural way to prevent other issues. I would definitely like to hear more thoughts. Not ones to guilt me into deciding either

As a mother who has a child who canot have vacinantions please please please concider this choice greatly. Buy not vacinating your child you not only put them at risck but also put children like mine at risck who canot be vacinated. A mum at our daycare chose not to have her baby vacinated and she contracted whooping copgh and pased it on to another young child in the same situation as my so the child who was unable to be vacinated died from the infection. I know there are slight risks with getting the shots but in my eyes they in know way outway the risk of lusing your child to one of these preventable illnesses. Thank you for taking the time to read my oppinion and i wish you the best of luck with whitch ever path you chose to take

I wanted so badly to go natural and tried my hardest. But turns out my tiny body could not handle it. I really give props to those women who have and can. By all means, try if you feel like you can. But don't make any decisions now and don't hurt yourself trying to force it. And, if you do end up with pain meds, do NOT feel bad or upset about it.
