What can it be?

I'm 29 weeks pregnant with my second baby. Last night I took a warm almost hot shower (I kept making the water hotter) because I was having terrible back pain. When I got out the shower maybe about 20 to 30 minutes later my private part started hurting. Really bad but not so bad that I could have dealt with the pain. I decided to go to sleep since my baby was and still is kicking. But now I woke up at 5:30 in the morning feeling my baby move and I feel like the pain is coming back. I'm asking because this never happened to me before with my first and was told all pregnancies are different. What could this be?

Oh and it hurts more when I stand or walk. As in when I'm laying down I don't feel the pain.

Every pregnancy is different :) that is for sure lol. My first 2 I had very bad round ligament pains and with my 3rd I didn't and then this pregnancy I don't really have anything of symptoms, its like I feel normal but excpt the pain now that I'm having.

I just thought it was weird because I never felt this pain with my first baby. And I had a full term baby.

Your hormones are trying to relax everything down there and it could also be baby pressing down on the pelvic floor too. This is my 4th baby and since 28-29 weeks I had that and from then on I still get it every day now, I'm 34.1 weeks pregnant.
