need help CANNOT SLEEP

well i am going on 7 weeks preggs, and for the last nearly 2 weeks i just cant sleep.i have tryed everything i can think of,cutting out certain drinks and food, exercising, not exercising and so on.. i normally go to bed around 10pm,i finally fall asleep around 3am.then i wake up at exactly 4.30am and im wide awake.and thats it until the next night.i cannot sleep and just lie there all night (hitting off my dh hoping to wake him up accidently on purpose!)
anyway, ive 3 young very lively children at home so i dont rest during the day,i am so tired that im getting weak and dizzy,i dont have the energy to bring them  out or do much so the kids are pulling the house apart.im getting snappy and realy not in a good mood, its not nice or fair to the kids.
has anyone any ideas????

I would call your Dr. Living without sleep is VERY hard on your body both physically and mentally, especially when you are pregnant and taking care of children. Maybe you can try some relaxation excercises could will help. Deep breathing, or sound machines (or even just a relaxing CD?). Or as a last resort I think that there may be some sleep aids that are safe in pregnancy. I know I was told that both tylenol pm and benadryl are safe medications. And when I was hospitalized for PTL with DS they even gave me ambien once or twice when I absolutely couldn't sleep.
I would definitely ask first before taking anything though...
Good Luck to you! I hope you get some rest soon!
