Normal??

Im 8 weeks pregnant and started to spot two days ago i never spotted with my son and am starting to get worried. The blood isnt red or pink more like a light brown but im worried. Is this normal?

I too am 8 weeks pregnant and have been beeding/spotting for almost a month. Had my first scan at 5.4 weeks and everything looked fine and I saw heartbeat. Then bled even more red with clots after that and had another scan at 6.5 weeks - all good. So, like you am stressing out but maybe for no reason at all. Call your doc and I am sure you can have an emergency scan straight away. It will put your heart at rest once you know exactly what is going on. Also, take it easy, try to rest, watch something funny....helps me to take my mind away.... Will keep fingers crossed for you. xx

I would talk to your doc better safe than sorry but my boss is a midwife and when I had spotting she said the bright red blood is really what you need to worry about. So it is probably nothing but like I said you can never be to careful

Yes its normal it could be old blood I had that happen I was scared because I never had that with my other kids but if ur nervious call ur dr
