needing advice.

Have any of you ladies gotten bad acne since you got  pregnant? I know its a common symptom but i've never had an acne problem before and now its taking over my back, chest and chin. Do you have any type on how to control it? i've true 3 different acne washes.

I broke out with my son, just on my face tho. I don't know if this one is a boy or girl yet but I have acne on my face, shoulders, back, chest. Its driving me nuts. My skin used to be soft and smooth before hand.

I had severe acne before getting pregnant and now. I use a cream facial wash called Yes To Carrots. Its 100% natural and really helps, but it is a bit expensive at around 8$ a bottle. I also buy St. Ives apercot scrub without salicylic acid and its only about 2$. And use them both when I wash my face in the morning.

Ive posted this a few times now lol but here goes lol spread the word girls!
Put into a container pure granulated white sugar or brown sugar for a milder scrub into a container add fresh squeezed lemon or lime juice until youve got a thick paste
Add 1/2 a teaspoon of pure olive oil ( not veg oil) keep it in a sealed container in the shower. I use it for my face shoulders back and even my belly. The citrus is a great toner, the sugar is an awesome natural scrub and the oil replaces what you scrub off.. i only use it every other day though bc too much scrubbing will scrub away the fresh skin youve just scrubbed the dead skin off of. I hope this helps you ladies as much as its helped me!

You can substitute with brown sugar for a finer scrub. Make sure its olive oil and not vegetable oil.

I also switched to natural shampoo and conditioner for a while like yes to carrots or burts bees. Because when you wash your hair it gets on your shoulders and back too. But the natural stuff definetly helped. And used face makeup for sensitive skin.

I have. Someone posted a scrub. Haven't tried it yet tho. Mix 1/2 cup of sugar and lemon juice in to a thick paste. Mix 1/2 teaspoon of olive oil. Put it in a tupperware thing and keep it in the shower and scrub all over.

I had the same problem it was horrible allover my back face and shoulders. Acne washes made it worse so I started using scentless baby soap and it helped a lot. My skin just wasn't liking all the chemical and greasy stuff I used before. So that helped a lot but around my 5th month my skin cleared up completely.

I have the same issue. Havent figured out the fix yet, but my doc said to not use any washes with salicylic acid in them. I guess the ingredient is too similar to aspirin, which prego ladies cant have. Hopefully we all can get something figured out soon!
