nervous about dr.s appt. today
i know this is gonna sound stupid but i go in for my first appt today to confirm my pregnancy and im really nervous....its like i keep thinking the doctors gonna b like "whered you get these positive tests from lady??you arent pregnant!" like i kno first response tests are pretty reliable and i havent got my period and i have symptoms from hell like i know im pregnant.....but for some reason i keep thinking this appt is gonna make me look like a pathetic idiot. i think it seems this way because i still just cant believe im pregnant...and having someone like a dr. confirm that would be a for sure thing and would make me believe it more. so im just scared she isnt going to give me that reasurance i need. although im sure she will.....i know i know i sound ridiculous i guess im just venting and support is appreciated/needed
so...i called to make the appt. and they wont see me until 8 weeks!! so i have to take my prenatals and relax she told me if i had two +hpt then i am most likely pregnant and they would do all the blood work and exam and everything else at the 8 week appts. so now im outta the 2ww and into the 3ww...ugh! i hate waiting!! thanks for the support though guys!

I think most of us have been in that position. It's so easy to think worst-case-scenario. Relax and enjoy having a doctor confirm, once and for all, that you are pregnant!
lol...I was just the opposite! I managed to hold off on taking an HPT until I had my beta at my Re. Well, they called and told me it was positive, but I didn't really believe them until I saw "pregnant" on one of the sticks!
Relax girlie! I am sure that everything will be fine and you will have a sticky little bean!
Ive gone to the doctor many times thinking I am and I know it ***** to have them say no your not. Ive never had a positive test though I was just going in on missed periods and symptoms.
everything will be fine i had those thought to but here in nd they wont see you till after 10 weeks so im glad your able to get in and congrats on the BFP!!!! when you get back let us know how it goes
