if the sac is 8 weeks then there should have been a heart beat, unless you ovulated later than what you thought.  i would wait another week and have an ultrasound done again but @ 8 weeks you should see a little flicker with a transvaginal ultrasound.

what did the doctor say?  do you have another appt?

8 weeks you should be able to see a baby and heartbeat, only 5 weeks cant really see much, id wait a few weeks and get another ultrasound, your dates could be off

It must be that she's 8 weeks since her LMP, so 8 weeks pregnant.......I think that she may be counting the 5 weeks since ovulation.......??????  Am I right Novita??

what is the doctor saying you are, 8 weeks or 5 weeks?

if you are only 5 weeks then it is normal not to see a fetal pole but if you are 8 weeks then you should see a fetal pole.
