sensitive nose from early pregnancy?

Ok last night i had an experience i was driving down the highway with my sister and we had the windows rolled down now first let me say im sick and have a little bit of a stuffy nose but as we were driving out of no where i smelt the most amazing smell ever and i took a couple mins for her to actually smell it so i had to flip around and find it but when i got back on the highway it was no where to be found.....has this happened to any one before and i mean i guess since im 4 days late it was just a funny moment for me and my sister

would love to read stories about others moments similar

i mean OMG ladies when i tell it smelled amazing i wouldnt lie to you ugh now i just have to work up the courage to take a EPT

I got the super sense of smell early in the 1st month. I could smell a cup of soda across the room..it was Sprite. Anything even remotely "smelly" I can smell it right away,even when no one else does. I have a hound dog sense of smell. Its horrible really sometimes though.. cuz the icky smells make you gag.

It could have been earlier, but I was smoking and never knew I was pregnant. I gave up the same week I found out I was pregnant and it was around 5w/

absolutely - "super smell" has accompanied all three of my pregnancies (1 m/c and 2 live births) from nearly the beginning...I think they all started within a week of getting my BFP.

but be careful! you'll smell good smells even stronger, but those bad smells can knock you flat. seafood, baby poop, and roadkill would send me into gagging fits regularly, it was awful. i mean those things normally stink but it was like 100x worse!

around 5.4 weeks :-), I keep a pretty clean house, but when I got my super smell.. I could smell everything :(

yea i mean im not sure if im prego but it was just so funny and i had to tell someone else cuz i have a horrible nose when im sick and trust me im sick right now

My sense of smell is extremely sensitive during pregnancy as well. I don't really have any aha moments but holy moly sometimes it's great and sometimes its awful. I gag at the weirdest times because I smell things so strongly lol
