"pregnant?"

I had my period from 18 Aug- 20/21 Aug. The source of my worry is that I had unprotected sex on 26th Aug. Since I'm not on pills, i took an emergency contraceptive (within 24 hrs) as my bf ejaculated twice inside me.What is making me extremely anxious is that i had light bleeding (deep red & slightly brown) from September 3rd - 5th. Could this be implantation bleeding?! Or could it be an early period since my periods are usually light and last for only 3 days? Also my breast were tender and i felt dizzy and weak during and after the bleeding but it has subsided a little now. Is it a sign of pregnancy or just a side effect of emergency contraceptives?? But the thing is i did not bleed when i had emergency contraceptive last year. Do you think i might be pregnant? Please help.

As for the bleeding,cant really say,maybe the pill,but 17 days from period would suggest this is time your in your fertile stage.to early for implantation.

Hiya the resaon i asked how long your period were is so i could give you a rough idea of when you ovulate.if you ovulate say 29 days then you wouldnt start ovulating until 15 days into your cycle starting from first day you bleed.so since you had sex 9 days into your cycle conception is highly unlikely.I wouldnt worry to much.you know when you ovulate count back 14 days from day you start your period.this is when you are likely to ovulate.bleeding for 3 days is honestly nothing to worry about,perfectly ok.

Thanks a lot..your reply made me a little less worried.You had asked how often my periods are. Well, I guess they are pretty regular. Its like 29 or 30 days cycle. I never had short cycles. But this time, I had the 3 days bleeding sort of thing on the 17th day from my last period. Could it be the side-effect of the emergency contraceptive or could it be something else that I should worry about??

How often are your periods.very unlikely your pregnant,unless you have short cycles,everyone seems to thing they can get pregnant any time,this is only the case if you are ovulating.this is the only way to concieve,implantation bleeding,which is not common for all,happens usually when your period is due.a period of 3 days is perfectly normal i was lucky if they were a day and half.if you are worried at all take a test.maybe you should consider going on the pill,and your boyfriend using protection,you wouldnt have to take the emergency contraceptive pill then.hope you get the answer you want.

It could be from the pill, and you could be pregnant. I'd wait until your period is due, and if you don't get it test. From my understanding the bleed you get after the pill is considered a period, and you should count from the first day of that bleed for when your next period is due. The emergency pill is not 100% effective, so you may still be pregnant, I suggest using protection if you do not wish to conceive.
