Hi guys I just came back from the doctor after having done an ultrasound because I am scared an wanted one early as I had a prior ectopic pregnancy and a miscarrage . I tort I was six weeks but the ultrasound stated five but it had no fetus only a gestational sac and a yolk sac . Is this normal ? I had a blighted ovum before with only the presence of a gestational sac but no yolk sac ? Is there hope ?

As a ftm who had a miscarriage last year I feel yah! But just believe this time will be different! You're probably just early! I think we all expect more from ultrasounds lol

I'm 6weeks as of today and I had a us Wednesday and all they saw was a Gestational sac and a yolk sac and told me that its OK BC the baby sometimes lays against ur uterus and sometimes when they do it its hard to see and that everything looked good. This is my first baby and first time being pregnant after for try to conceive for two years now. So I kind of know how u feel but don't stress BC it the worst thing to and everything will be okay.

The same thing happened .to me I had an u.s. at supposedly six weeks but there was no baby only the gestation and yolk sac but I went back a week later and found out I was just earlier then they thought and now I'm 17 weeks so just try not to worry I think ur ok. Good luck

When I found out I was bleeding so they did us and all that was there was a sac nothing else and they said I was 5weeks 3 days then went for my 1 st apt at 8 weeks and had us and there it all was heartbeat and all they told me sometimes its 6-7 weeks before u can c it all depends on several things weight location ur uterus mine is tilted so makes it harder and I ha an anterior placenta good luck

This literally just happened to me. I went in on the 18th & we saw the gestational sac & yolk sac, but no baby. The doctor said i was only measuring at 6 weeks & that it was too early. I was told to come back in a week. I'm going back on the 26th. I'll keep you posted.

That is still very early. My hopes are you'll be fine and in a few weeks you'll get to see your Lil one's heart beat. Try to relax keep hydrated eat healthy take your prenatal vitamins. Best wishes
