nursery

So I was just wondering if you've had children before did you keep them in the nursery or in your room with you and what are you considering doing this time if this is your first what are you thinking about doing? With my son I kept him with me and I couldn't imagine any other way.

It's better to keep the baby with u. There's no need to keep them in nursery unless those things I mention. I will do same thing with mine too:)

Yeah I kept my son the whole time with me except for his check up and circumcision. I will do the same with this baby

U can have ur baby whenever u want during hospital. I did intern in the nursery & the reason why we kept them in there is to check on them like the temp, weight, blood test, things are necessary...sometimes we keep them also to give the mom rest but if u ask for ur baby they will definetly let u have them.

Oh lol well you should call your hospital and find out their policy because with my first baby over four years ago she was in the NICU but when they finally let her in our room we kept her during the day and sent her to the nursery at night, then my second two years ago they wouldn't even take her long enough for me to shower I had to take her in the bathroom with me and that is still their policy unless the baby is sick they will not take it for any reason.

I'm expecting our third daughter and I will be doing what I always do, she will be in a bassinet next to my bed until 5/6 months and then I will move her to her nursery. I don't feel comfortable having a newborn sleeping in another room.

I had a nursery but my son slept in our room in his own bed lol
