Is this labour?

I woke up at 3:30 am and went to the washroom, I had some pain in my lower right ab. I thought I was just sleeping too soundly and should have woken up earlier to pee or switch positions but the pain wasn't going away much after half an hr so I got up to time the 'contractions'. I have had 3 fairly constant at about 5 mins apart and then one at 8 mins and 1 min long. My back is numb and I can tell that these are contractions, just not sure if it's labour...
P.S. I have been 1 cm for at least 5 days, and tomorrow is my due date.

Lol yeah my sister kept worrying so she kept drinking water each time until they kept on through the water. I don't know what the water does but it stops fake ones most of the time.

I am going to take your advice with the water drinking too.  I am due in 4 days and I have been to the hospital 3 times thinking I am in labour.  I don't want to go in again until its the real thing.  I am so sick of explaining to family and friends why I am being sent home.  Its kind of like the boy who cried wolf.  No one is going to believe me when I really do go into labour.

thanks for the tip :) I will do! My contractions have gotten constantly further apart too. but I am still gonna go get checked to see if I am any further dilated.

The hospital always told my sister to drink a big glass of cold water. The pitcher mugs they give you in the hospital. She told her if its braxton hicks they will go away after drinking them. If not then its labor. Hope this helps. :)

I think if I feel like I need to go in I will, but one way or the other bf is staying home from work, when my son has gone to school in 3 hours I will go, at least to get get checked out, if not sooner. I just don't know what to do right now lol. I feel like I should be calling and making arrangements, but not sure if i really need to haha

They say if you have 4 in an hour head to labor and delivery. Good luck!
