is cold and sore throat pregnancy symptom

i'm currently 11DPO and i have been experiencing these symptoms im having a sore throat (and some coughing not much) right now since 6DPO til now 11DPO but i also have seasonal allergies too. i was sitting in my bed and i started to feel light headed and fainty and a little dizzy so i hurried and laid my head on my pillow. this isn't the first time i had a lightheaded dizzy faint spell. my face is also very pale (btw i'm brown skin african american lol).

(btw i had sex right on my ovulation day and 3-4 days later my period started but it was lighter than normal i had extreme bloating and gas stomach cramps sharp twinges or pains in my left side and now experiencing what i said above and below)

my period is supposed to be due in 3 days on the 8th but before today i had also been feeling nauseous after i eat anything im tired all of the time i woke up this morning at 8 or 9 am and after i showered and washed my hair i went back to bed i was soooo tired. idk whats wrong with me my doctor says its not my iron levels, i don't have a thyroid problem, i don't think its stress but could be, i don't have an std, i just don't know whats wrong i was told to check with my family doctor.

Getting very sick is a first pregnancy symptom for me. Its more flu like tho and its the only time I ever get that kind of sick. So for some yes it could be a symptom but it could also just be a cold or allergies. Wait a week or two and take a test. Also have your blood sugar checked. I have very low blood sugar and I get very lightheaded, pale, tired and usually come close to passing out if I don't catch it soon enough. Are you experiencing that stuff after not having ate for about 5 hours or more? A good way to tell if its your blood sugar is to have a snack ready(like peanut butter on crackers and glass of milk) and when you start to feel like that eat and then see if you feel better or same. Hope this helps.

It does sound as if you have typical symptoms of the cold. But of course this does not rule our that you are pregnant. What until your period is due and if you're late, then do a home pregnancy test. Good luck!

Your symptoms are more indicative of a cold/flu versus pregnancy symptoms. That's not to say they aren't however. Some women get really sick when they first get pregnant for whatever reason. What you've described however----pale, dizzy, faint, coughing, fatigue and sore throat---- sounds like a typical virus.
