Aww thanks. :) I love the name Lily too - I thought I wasn't having any kids so I gave it to my dog lol, but now I wish I had saved it. A good name, for a pretty little girl.

I'm almost positive it will be Emma. I think it's a very cute name, but I love the symbolism of it as much as anything. I always said little girls should be named after strong women, because they're going to need that strength one day. My mom's one of the strongest people I know, and I know it would delight her...as well as my ex, who still won't stop going on about it lol.

My Babys heart rate has always been real high.. and he's for sure a boy. Its different with everyone.

@SiSi, thanks, it's really growing on me. I like it, I was the first one who suggested it, I think I'm just commitment-shy because I'm not even 18 weeks...I'm reserving the right to change my mind lol. But I really like that it honors my mom, who is an awesome, wonderful mother and will spoil this child like crazy, I'm pretty sure she's already got her crochet needles lol.

@moodye247, I forgot to ask this time, but I remember the last couple of times I think it's been around 160. Maybe there's something to that. :)

Scan seemed to be fine, the tech wouldn't give us any definites - said our doc would call us tomorrow, but she didn't seem worried about anything.  I got the name question a lot too lol. We've decided the middle name will definitely be Grace, but we're still debating on the first name. Possibly Angelica, Mikaela, or Emma. There are already Angelicas and Mikaelas in my family, but she'd be the only Emma. My ex really likes that name, "I like Emma" he kept saying all day and it's close to my mom's name so I like that, so maybe she'll be a little Emma Grace. She's going to have a really long last name because we're hyphenating, so I like the idea of a cute, simple, and sweet name. :)

We spent the afternoon celebrating by putting the crib together. This is so exciting.

Congrats! We're opposite - I just assumed we were going to have a girl since we have a daughter already but are having a boy. I was in shock for the whole evening then finally woke up the next morning and realized how lucky we are that we get to have one of each (we are set on having only 2)!

I was so sure it was a boy, and everybody said it was a boy, so it was pure shock, but so happy. New babies are great, hope your scan goes well. :)
