period/implantation bleeding

i had my last period the first week of december 2010. my boyfriend and i had sex the 10th the 11th and the 12th of december. im expecting my period the first week of january but i got light bleeding instead. i dont no if this could have effected my period being light, ..a week after sex with my boyfriend i took alot of advil due to pain from a torn tendent in my knee. i also had the stress of breaking up with him the same week that my knee was messed up and not being able to really walk because of my knee was was stress to. so this would be 4 weeks since we had sex  can implantaion bleeding happen 4 weeks after having sex or seeing how i should be getting my period this week is it just a light period due to stress and ect..

Hi:-) Implantation bleeding occurs approximately six to twelve days after ovulation. By your calculations, you probably ovulated around the time you had sex. Now the stress can also definitely delay your period. In any event, the only way you will know if you are pregnant is to wait and see if your period comes. if it doesn't give it about 4-5 days and then test with your first morning urine. Good luck! Do keep us posted:-)
