I bled for about two and a half weeks after birth and I got my period at 6 weeks postpartum.  I didn't breastfeed either.

Depends on your body. There is no exact time, and no one can tell you when it'll come back. Breastfeeding can hinder it's return, but not always.

It was the normal bleeding after giving birth. When do I start my actual period

Was it your period or was it the normal bleeding associated with giving birth? Because after birth, bleeding lasts anywhere from 2-6 weeks or so. It's not a menstrual period.
