pets and pregnancy

Since ive got pregnant my cat has become increasingly distant towards me. Shes 2 and a half and has slept on my bed every night, until a few weeks ago. She used to come and give me head cuddles (rub her face against my face) she used to sit on my lap and even sleep on my chest while kneeding me with her front paws and purring in my face. But now Im 38 weeks pregnant and she doesnt acknowledge me unless i walk past her bowl and shes hungry. Shes even been pooping in my room lately just a metre from the window that is open for her to get in and out. Has anyone else had issues with their pets while pregnant?

I have a 7 month old pit bull puppy and he was an angel before I got pregnant and now he just barks all the time and chews stuff up I think he knows things are changing and he's trying to get attention...

My Cat Has Been Super Clingy. He Knew I Was Pregnant Before I Did Because He Would Nudge And Protect My Stomach. Being 30 Weeks He Is Even More Protective, And Follows Me Every Where. He Has To Be Between My Boyfriend And I Or He Will Start Nudging At My Boyfriend. Like He I Saying To Back Off. Have You Introduced A Baby Doll In The House And To The Cat?  She Could Be Marking Her Territory. Which Is Common.

Im glad im not alone in this but im terrified shes going to run away after my baby is born! Shes my first pet and even though im having a baby i still want my cat too shes part of my family

My mum's cat will no longer go anywhere near me, she used to do the head butting thing and wouldn't leave my room but now I'm 19 weeks pregnant she doesn't want to know me!  So you're not the only one ;)
