Same thing happened to my daughter and I put breast milk on the corner of her eye and let it go in. It cleaned it safely the next morning it was completely gone. Seriously it is miracle stuff free and completely safe

You need to take baby to the doctor it's probably not pink eye but just an infection my first baby had the same problem what you should do is get a warm not hot cloth and hold it in the eye so it comes off without pain

If it is an infection.  If you are breastfeeding you can actually squirt some in the babys eye cuz ur nipple absorbs the babys saliva and knows what antibodies to make the baby better when it's sick.

Could be a clogged tear duct and not pink eye. You need to take the baby to the Dr to get a med you rub over the eye.

It's normal for a newborn to get goopy eyes. They will have it up until they are 1 month old. It's from there eyes getting used to being outside
