Thanks I appreciate the input! Yes I googled it and am worrying about everything little thing I feel. Just really scared when I started having period like bleeding 1 1/2 weeks ago but that stopped after 3 days. Hoping for the best :)

Placenta previa does not affect when you will feel baby. Placenta previa is when it partially it completely covers the cervix.

If your placenta does stay low a c section is the absolute safest way to get your baby here but my guess is that it really will move up on its own. When I found out about mine I did the worst thing possible and googled it. I kept reading all these horror stories from women who had it but it really was worst case scenario and very rare. That's actually how I ended up finding this forum. I made my first post and I had 13 different women respond all saying that their placentas came up. I started researching it a bit more and it really is common for the early part of pregnancy and really common for it to fix itself. I know it's easier said than done but try not to worry about it too much. Even if it doesn't come up at your 20 week visit it will probably come up by the end of your pregnancy.

Yes I'm nervous after reading a c-section is usually the ending result. I had my daughter pre-mature at 34 weeks and they never knew why, I'm so wondering if I had the same thing last time but was not detected. They said they will check again at my 20 week scan to see if its come up at all.

I was completely freaked out over the idea of a c section too. My understanding is that it is way more common for the problem to correct itself than for it to not although sometimes it's way later in pregnancy before it does.

I'm glad to head that it has moved for some of you guys. I'm 26 weeks now. At 30 weeks my doc will check again to see if there has been any change. If not we will make plans for a csection. This is my fourth pregnancy but first section more nervous about this than first labor :\

I had a full placenta previa and it ended up coming up on its own around 28 weeks

I'm almost 17 weeks...had bleeding at 15 weeks and had to go in for ultrasound and they said the placenta is sitting on top of my cervix. I baby is sitting so low, feels like it kicks my cervix and I haven't gained any weight. This is totally different from my first pregnancy!

You may not feel the kicks as soon/hard, but besides that everything else should be normal.
