could it be another pregnancy?

i just had a miscarriage recently. i dont know when it happened because doctors have not been much help. but i think it happened in my first week of pregnancy eventhough pregnancy tests kept showing positive at 7 weeks. my bf says i cant get pregnant if i didnt go to get the baby vacumed out but i havent gotten my period and i began spotting today. what could this be? is it possible that i may be pregnant again?

You don't always have to have a d&c to get pregnant again. You only need that if it didn't all pass naturally or if you experience a missed miscarriage. You need to see a doctor and determine if you even did miscarry (because you can still bleed, and bleed heavily and not loose the baby) or what is going on. If it all didn't pass, you risk infection.

A missed miscarriage is where you lose the baby, but your body doesn't realize it so it doesn't expel the tissue. In essence you are just carrying around the baby and it's not alive anymore. Get a beta blood draw done and see what it says. It might be that you did miscarry naturally and are no longer pregnant, and the spotting could be from your period about to start or something else.
