OMG I don't know what to think, feel, or do

Wow what an emotional roller coaster!  Here are my HCG blood test results

6/2       263
6/9     1862
6/14   2878
6/15   4412

I have had bleeding for 7 days now along with mild cramps in my lower tummy and back.  The bleeding has eased up a lot today though.  They are still waiting on my progesterone level, but I am on supplements so it should be way up by now.  I don't know if I should be excited or scared.  I mean I know they did not double, but they did go up again.  What am I supposed to think lol?

I've got a list started to take with me on Tuesday.  Hopefully they will be able to answer all of them lol.

someone should be sitting down with you and discussing any results you don't understand to prevent you from worrying. if it happens again and no one does, schedule an appointment yourself and write down a list of questions you want to ask them.

Ok thanks again!  I will be sure to tell him when they call me next time or if I see him first.

I think I took 400 mg of progesterone if I remember correctly. I'd at least let the doctor know you're taking that much because that is what you took in a previous pregnancy.

Thank you for everything!  You have helped give me hope on this pregnancy!  I will be happy to see anything at this point lol.  Hopefully there will at least be a gest sac measuring as it should and a yolk sac would be nice!  With my blighted ovum there was only a gest sac so that would at least give me even more hope.  I started taking an extra 100 MG of progesterone a day.  I know the doctor only wants me to take 300 mg, but my last pregnancy I took 400 mg and had no bleeding problems.  I did start bleeding after I stopped taking it though.  I figure I'll tell him when I run out before I was supposed to lol.  I have heard of people taking 800 mg a day so I think 400 should be fine.  What is your opinion?

I was just about to say- one of the lab results could've been a mistake or something. But your new levels definitely look FABULOUS!

The ultrasound is really early. Don't be surprised if you don't see anything.

Well my doctor called me back today instead of tomorrow!  He thinks my levels look good and the bleeding could be from a  number of things.  He said different labs do tests differently and that could be why there is such a difference in my numbers!  I guess maybe if I had just waited it out I'd never had to go through the worrying, but better safe than sorry.  I go in next Tuesday for more labs and a ultrasound!  They will actually do an internal ultrasound this time too, so hopefully I can see a beautiful baby with a strong heartbeat.  I will let everyone know how Tuesdays visit goes!  I'm just going to try and have faith and stay on complete bedrest as much as possible along with nothing but water.

I agree with JoyRenee.  It was less than 24 hours, so I think your numbers look good!  How many weeks are you?

Actually it wasn't even a full 24 hours.  I went to the ER around 8 p.m. on the 14th and the doc office around 4 p.m. on the 15th.  I have thought about it and I wonder what they would be today.  I mean if they have doubled or even came close they would put me back on the right doubling.  Now I kinda wish I hadn't gone to the ER lol.  I mean maybe my body takes a full week to get accurate results.  Gosh this is so overwhelming yet nerve racking!  I was so sure they would call with lower results and had my self prepared, but they really caught me off guard with this latest test.

It was only 24 hours between the tests so I'd say those numbers look great over the past couple days. They should double every 2-3 days, not every day!
