postpartum blues

how do you get over the postpartum blues or how do you get through them? my daughter was born august 9th 2012 and i had postpartum blues since she was 4 or 5 days old and now shes 1o days old. i tried getting out of the house and talking to my mom but i still feel sad. when my daughter and i had the check up at the hospital on the 16th the nurse asked me to fill out the sheet with the questions and she did say that if i was scoring a 13 on the paper that my doctor would prescribe meds for me to try to get through it so i scored a 10 on that paper. are any of you ladies going through the same thing as i am?

its going on abit longer than the normal baby blues, def speak with your doctor when you see him next as the earlier ppd is caught the quicker you can get over it :)

Can you redo the paper? I can't imagine having to take a "test" to get help for postpartum blues, but I would definitely speak to him/her again, just so it doesn't get worse! I hope things get better for you! :(
