more bleeding

Well I posted another questions about getting a false positive.  I was going to go to the Drs tomorrow, but I guess I won't now.  I'll call here in a minute.  Not sure what it is.

I'm not really sad just confused, on why I would get a positive on test and then start bleeding, not just spotting anymore.

Thanks girls.  I was going to wait and call the dr office.  I don't have any pain, just the stringy mucus blood every time I go potty.

She most likely suggested ER because of an ectopic pregnancy. If you're miscarrying the ER won't do much but send you back home unless they need to personally clean you out. I doubt you have an ectopic though. Don't lose hope dear! Everything happens for a reason!

Hey
To be honest about hospitals if I were to miscarry again I wouldn't go to hospital.  When I miscarried my son I got to the hospital at 5 and I just bled very light.  At 6pm I was literally gushing, it kind of felt like someone had turned on a tap there was that much blood.  I changed 7 pads in an hour in a packed waiting room.  At 7pm they finally put me in a room which wasn't bad considering there was an initial 4 hour waiting time.  They didn't give me any scans what so ever.  At 9pm I went to the toilet stood up, my waters broke and my son came out with my placenta.

In all honestly from my experience the nurse at the front counter wasn't even interested.  She basically told me to go home and I was 14 weeks pregnant because she said if I was going to miscarry there was nothing they could do to stop it.  I would just do a follow up with your doctor but if you are in serious pain then go to the er.

I hope that helps

Well it's about 2:30 in the morning, woke because I had to pee.  I'm not filling up even a line, but the blood is a little more bright and a mucus stringy type blood is dripping into the toilet.  I'm 90% sure I'm not pregnant anymore and never thought I could be so attached.  I know the nurse told me to go to ER if it got heavier or brighter, but DH leaves for work in 4hrs and I have 2 school age kids and my DS to take to his babysitter. So unless the bleeding becomes worse, I'm at least waiting until 2 kids are off to school.

Awwww! Oh no! Hope everything is okay! I was looking up stuff online with DF and he said he seen where women had bleeding just like a "period" and were still pregnant! If you google anything always type in yahoo answers afterwards. That's where we found it that info.

Hope everything works out and lemme know what happens!!!

The same thing happened to me a year ago tomorrow. I tested with six or seven positives, then two days later they turned negative and I started bleeding. I went to the ER and there was no sac or anything. Two days later I went to see my GYN for a repeat quantitative hcg and it showed elevated levels which we followed back down to 0. It was a really emotional time for me as DH and I were ttc for 8 months at that point. After I miscarried I didn't ovulate on my own for six months or more. I ended up having to take Provera and Clomid. I conceived on Clomid with my first try after 14 months ttc. During my first trimester I bled and passed clots until about 8 or 9 weeks. I'm now almost 28w. Don't lose hope! Not all bleeding leads to a miscarriage, it's about 50/50 chance. Don't give up, because I know how hard it got for me and in the end I am so glad I didn't decide to throw in the towel! Let us know how your appt goes!

Thanks for responding, i'm just at a loss. I think it just scared me when she said go to the ER if it you fill a pad every 30 min or so.  Or if it's bright.  I have not had clotting, I've checked every time, lol.  But I do noticed when I'm using the restroom that it(blood) drips (tmi) into the toilet and makes a small, about dime size, pool of blood, but no clots.  Not sure what to do.

Hi false positives are always very scary because you just never know if you were or weren't pregnant in the first place.  To be honest I think you were pregnant.  I have had one false positive and I found that extremely emotional.  I remember having my period for about 5 days but it was so light I just couldn't figure out what was wrong.  I decided to take a test and it came back positive.  Three days later I started bleeding again like red blood, I took another test and it was a faint positive and so I went to the doctor that night only to get a negative.  I was so confused and decided not to do any blood tests because I guess the uncertainty made it a lot easier although hard to get over it.  I do remember bleeding a bit heavier and seeing tissue come out.

Goodluck.  I hope everything turns out ok

Just got off the phone with nurse again.  She said to still come in but it get heavier and brighter than to go to er.  May be miscarriage, never had one.  Just hearing her say that made me more emotional. I hung and cried.  I have never felt this way.
