Being induced in one hour.....

Can't wait! But I can tell its going to be an exhausting day! Haven't slept since yesterday (10am)! Haven't had anything to eat or drink since 9pm last night! And to top it all I have a major head ache....most likely due to not being able to eat or drink!

BUT

It will all be worth it! I can't wait to meet our little prince!

It's almost over! They broke my water at 7:00 am and I had my son at 2:52 pm
It felt like forever because I was starving and I wanted to just have him out...lol
I tell ya though, after the baby comes out and they bring you food, it's like the best thing in the world Lol.. It could be dirt and you'd be saying omg best dirt in the world! LOL

Well 5 hours later and my little man is brig stubborn! From his heart beat he sounds like he is jamming away and comfy where he is at!

I'm dilated to a 4 and 80% thinned!

They broke my water at 730am! We are progressing just not as fast as I would like!

I got some sleep (quick power nap) but I'm still starving!

Hopefully it's not to much longer!

They don't want you to eat just in case you need to have a c-section. There's chance to vomit from the medication and you can aspirate on the table during surgery. Nothing to do with pooping during delivery. That's so common and it doesn't bother anyone in the room.

I remember it was 2 1/2 days of no eating while i was being induced but I was hooked up to the iv so I didn't even feel hungry as soon as I had baby and was unhooked from everything I was STARVING. But they don't let you eat so you won't go #2 since your hooked up to a million things. LOL

good luck. be sure to eat, i was in l&d for about three hours and could not eat it was the worst. they do not let you eat. i told myself during labor i will have to sneak some crackers in to eat. lol
