flu shot?

Hey ladies did any of you not get the flu shot or plan to during your pregnancy?

I got it two days before I turned 14 weeks! I was worried at first after reading things online, but everything fine and I'm 17 weeks today! (: My boyfriend had the flu last week and I didnt get it!

Nope, dont plan on getting the flu shot.  Im 18 weeks and so far haven't gotten sick. I work with kids (elementary school) so im prone to be around germs all the time. However I have been blessed to not even catch a cold. I make sure to drink plenty of fluids,  rest, take my vitamins and wash/sanitize my hands whenever I get the chance. Dont think its necessary.

My doctor highly recommended it so I did and haven't been sick at all :)

Alot of ppl think the flu shots gives them thr flu, ask at your apt next time. Not true.

I never got it, and haven't gotten sick at all. I'm currently 22 weeks and 4 days. My doctor told me to not get it when I've never got it before now.

I never got the flu shot. Tons of people actually get the flu after getting the shot so no thanks

How far along were yu guys when you got the flu shot?.

I got it.. helps baby after theyre born since they cant vaccinated for it til like 6mos old. You wouldnt wanna risk them around someone whos got the flu.

I didn't. No flu yet. I've been around the flu, and I've been around toddlers, but I've never gotten the flu before and didn't want to get the shot if I felt it was unnecessary.

I'm 38 weeks and i got mine during my pregnancy.  Im so glad that i did cause my husband caught the flu and even though we slept in the same bed while he was sick, and I took care of him. I didn't get sick

I got mine done on nov 18th and it was well worth it i never get them but im thankful I did during pregnancy my step daughter had the h1n1 flu and I luckily never got it thanks to my shot and I already have a weak immune system
