Is this it?????

As i explained in my other post, i have never experienced a *show* in my previous pregnancies. Untill the other day, i had what looked like snot (sorry) Come away as i wiped. Well, not long ago, went loo wiped again and it was the same *snotty* But this time it had a bit of a brownish colour in it. Is this normal? And could this be the begining of labour. For 2 days now i have been feeling like i'm about to come on my period, period cramps in the belly and the back????

Yes i did lol and did somemore today. We don't have a car, so we either bus it to places or just walk. And today we walked everywhere!

Yes it was very annoying!! But after i wrote the message to you earlier, i started getting more and it has continued all day! They are a little more regular than the one's during the week, and more intense!! I am still getting them as i am writing this message to you. I am really hoping they continue and turn into what we would call "active" labour! I just don't want to be disapointed again!! Will keep you informed. xox

hey hope ya ok ! grr to the midwife how annoying ,anyway have you got a birthing ball? if so sit in an uprite position on top of the ball and circle your hips round also if you baby is bak to bak then get on all fours or try not to slouch when sitting all this will help her bak into a "normal" position if the labour is proggressing slowly yru walking up and downstairs or when out try waling with 1 foot on the kerb edge and the other on the round so ya up and down lol yes it looks crazy but does work  :) good luck and thanx for the update its crazy how we dont know each other on here but i feel like i have some really good friends lol keep in touch and good luck hunny xx

Hi..

Rung midwife, no one will come out to see me nor will they examine me. They said this is very normal but could go on for few more days even weeks!! Argh, I thought with this being my fifth, It would be like shedding out pea's lol! How wrong was I. Midwife said baby could be in poor position, any suggestions how to get her in the right possition?? I hope she comes soon as well. I will try to enjoy the last few days, week or so, just hard when you are in pain most of the time.

Thank you for all you'r lovely comments. xox

Hi.. Just thought I'd update you.

Things still pretty much the same, although tday I have been having stronger pains, just irregular! Backache alot more and still losing the plug! Due date is tmora, so we will see what happens. I may call midwife tmora and ask for them to examine me as I will be "Full term" I really need to know whats happening! Wether I am dilating, if so how much I have dilated, and also to put my mind at rest and knowing something is actually happening! I will keep you all updated as much as possible x

Ok, so went midwife. She did'nt do an examination! Dissapointed really, but i know things are happening! But slooooowly! I have lost more of the plug with a brownish colour! And lots more pains today, today will be the 3rd day. It is just a matter of waiting for things to progress and waiting for the *stronger* contractions to kick in. If things still have not progressed by thursday the latest, then i will contact midwife and ask them to examine me and do a sweep. Please ladies pray that things will speed up for me!!! Not sure i can cope with all the aches and pains for another day or so!!

Arh thank you ladies! Feel stupid sometimes because this is my fifth, but have never had a *show* before. But i guess every pregnancy is different! Had the cramps all day, very irregular, some are breath taking, but others are not really anything. Don't feel too comfortable down there! She has dropped even more!! Just got to wait i guess. Have midwife tomorrow (If i make it there) lol I will chat to her, and maby she'l have a look!! She did say before they won't do any examinations untill due date or over. But i'm full term on fri, so whats the harm! Thank you again ladies, and will keep you posted!! xox

its usually pinkish i thought? but they say everyone is different. a show is for your cervix opening so maybe this has been happening for a day or two? hence why there is old blood. it sounds promising, good luck with the birth :) usually a show can apprear up to 10 days before labour starts but with pains and bowel movements it sounds like something happening!xo

I've been to the loo #2 lol not long after loosing what i hope is the plug! Still feel, light period type cramps. I hope i'm not waiting for another 2weeks or so, i am due this fri, so hopefully this is it building up? I thought, you were meant to get blood with a show, or is the brownish colour normal? x
