pregnant so soon after having baby??
hello.. i am very confused and i really need some advice and some questions answered please if anyone can help me! i am 25 years old i have a 4 yr old son and a recently gave birth to my daughterrr (may 2nd, 08) she will be 5 months soon. i haven't gotten a period since i had my daughter so the other day i decided to take a test just to be sure. it came back positive. i took 5 more all were positive. my question is i wasn't sure how i would fall pregnant under the circumstances of never having a period. i understand that after giving birth u are very fertile. my dh could have only gotten pregnant on one occasion and we used a condom. although i know not a 100% i wasn't expecting this. i am very scared seeing as though my daughter is so young, i realize that God only gives you what he believes you can handle so i'm alright with that. i just was thinking is it possible to be a false positive.?? about a month ago i took a test also it was negative so now with me getting all these positives i have to be pregnant i assume??? if anyone has any answers to help me please let me know. thanks in advance for the help! also i do have some pregnancy symptoms, frequent urination breast tenderness. also i quit breast feeding when my daughter was 3 months. thanks all
thanks for the advice and the hope. i appreciate it. i also have a 4 yr old. he's at the age though where he dont need me so much. i am scared but i know i can do it. i just was not expecting this. i hope all goes well with ur number 3 when r u due wit this one?
I had a girl in June 06, and found out in sept 06 that I was pregnant again! I had a boy in May of 06. They are 10 months and 3 weeks apart, and it's a little stressful but they are so close now and I am glad it went back to back. I'm currently pregnant with number 3. So when this one is born I will have 3 under 3! Also, both of mine were vaginally delevered. People will probably hate me for this, but epideral free because I had no time. My daughter was born in 36 mins, no signs of labor until water broke and barely made it to the hospital. My son was born in 20 mins with same thing, no signs of labor till water broke! I dialate early and all, but I believe you can handle this! Having them close together only makes you stronger as a mom! You get blessed with more patients!!! :)

I know you have to be scared. But this might make you feel alittle bit better. A friend of mine had her baby in October of last year and when she went back to the doctor at her 6 weeks check up she was 4 weeks prego. So she got pregnant when her first baby was only 2 weeks old. She has had a hard time dealing with this but she is doing better now. But just keep your head high. Everything will be okay. It all happens for a reason.
yes we used a condom but we had sex 2 times. i said once but it was twice, sorry about that. the first was about 2 1/2 months ago and the last was the beginning of this month (sept) after the first time i took a test it was negative, we didn't use anything that time. i tested a while after that so i know it couldn't have been then i got pregnant. so it had to be this time. we used a condom but he told me he thought it might've broken, i really didn't think much about it till the other day and decided to test and BAM positve haha.. i do not believe that abortion is right for me but i do not have a clue how i am going to do this. my fiance works alot so its just me mostly taking care of the baby and my 4 yr old. i also suffered 2 mc's sept 03 and sept 06 so to have lost 2 babies that a big reason i do not believe that is the right thing to do. I am sure it will work itself out though, and YES i believe i am pregnant because I feel like it haha. thanks u all. u guys make me feel better and ease my worries also make me feel like i am capable of doing this haha
I had a bit of a scare myself.. lol and I'm only 6w post partum. But I'm only using condoms. Hormonal and permanent methods are out of the question. I told DH he had to choose. Condoms or a fat wife!
I've had a scare as well.. I seriously need to get ahold of my OB now that I've got medicaid and get some sort of B/C, I'd suggest the same to you sameerab if you aren't pregnant!

im so nervous about this i havent gotten my period yet but i just had my baby 6 weeks ago anyway i had unprotected sex twice with my dh and umm i hope this doesnt happen to me
my son is almost 11 months and im 18 weeks preggo i got preggo 11 weeks after my son was born. i choosed not to keep the baby and i got pregnant again so its meant and i was using pertection this time i got preggo. but keep ur head up
i am not even sure when i wouldve gotten pregnant. i know that it was the beginning of this month sometime (sept) i am suprised that the test was already positive that quickly. i would think i am not even a month pregnant then. i am going to get in touch with my OB tomorrow and see from there whats going on. I didn't realize a test can detect pregnancy so quickly.
you can definalty get pregnant before you have your period...just like you can 100% get pregnant while breast feeding. You need to see a Dr, and get a u/s to try to date the pregnancy
