Smelly Pee

I'm 32 weeks Pregnant and when I go to the bathroom, my urine smells.....kinda sewery.....if that makes any sense. My boyfriend said to drink more water...but my urine is clear and I drink a litre if not more of water a day. Last week I thought my water broke...but when I went to the hospital they said it wasn't amnio after the test they ran and that I might have peed myself but I didn't feel myself peeing. I just stood up and I was wet. It happened again later on that day after I finished at the hospital at my son's Christmas Concert but I decided not to go to the hospital again...and just waitto see if it happened a third time and then go. My dula and hermid-wife friends said I might have a high leak and to monitor it. I was not supposed to go swimming or have sex incase I got an infection from either but fiqured after 4 days i was okay to go and went swimming and had sex. Could I have gotten an infection or what is going on...or even some possiblitites....? It's rather embarrassing.

Sounds like your water broke, or you have an infection, OR you've lost your bladder control. The smell sounds more likely to be infection.

I have heard that amniotic fluid smells a little like semen, and nothing like pee. Does that help at all??
I wouldn't be having sex or going swimming until you find out what it is for sure.
