PCOS and pregnant

Hello everyone,

I was diagnosed with PCOS a little over a year ago! I already had two daughters by that time but then I was suddenly told that I may not be able to conceive on my own anymore! Anywho, I started on birth control and metformin to treat my PCOS about 3 months ago but stopped after 1 month because I couldn't deal with all the symptoms. I was supposed to start my period around the 28th of July but I didn't and I assumed it was just because of my condition but after having breast pain and frequent urination I decided to take a test and it turned positive right away. I am excited as we weren't trying but we weren't preventing either but I am scared because I am at an increased risk of miscarriage with PCOS. Anybody else have a successful pregnancy with PCOS? Should I be worried? From my standpoint, I have always had PCOS but i had 2 successful pregnancies!

I've had endometriosis and PCOS for 15 years and they told me I could never have kids, so imagine my surprise when I found out I was pregnant! I'm 27 weeks now and so far he's perfectly healthy so I'd say you have a good chance of everything being just fine :)

I was diagnosed with pcos about 3 years ago and was told there may be a possibility that I may never have children naturally, which was devastating, spoke to my partner and said it might not be possible until I had a shock of my life by finding out I was pregnant, high risk of miscarriage scared me throughout first trimester, but I'm now 37+1 weeks with a healthy little girl.
Just take things easy an don't over do it
Congratulations by the way :D xx
